Revolut bank

Revolut is a digital bank where you can also exchange currencies in more than 30 countries, without commission or transfer money.

In my opinion this bank is aimed at business and people that travel a lot.

Revolut has around the 18 million users, and is growing very fast.

HQ is UK based in London, It was founded in 2015 by Nikolay Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko.

They exchange in 30+ different currencies (in the app), the card works in 150 countries.

The limit per month depends on which plan you have, if you go over the limit the bank starts charging 2% of the amount you are going to withdraw.

The money is automatically exchanged in the currency of the country where you are, the bank exchanges it at the exchange rate of the day (the cheapest among banks).

The transfer from one account to another is free of charge up to a maximum of €1000 monthly, if you exceed the limit the bank starts charging 0.5% on top of €1000.

Avoid transferring money or even withdrawing money on weekends. (the bank charges 0.5% on weekends), The currency may be at a different price on Monday compared to last Friday.

Custom security

You can freeze the account, you can set monthly withdrawal limits or you can even remove the card from your account. (via app)

You can turn off contactless payment, you can turn off online payment, you can turn off swippen, you can turn off ATM withdrawal and lastly you can turn on location-based payment (via GPS), that means the your cell phone has to be next to the card for it to work.
